Welcome to the Balfour School page. Balfour School is a small three teacher school nestled in the middle of rural Southland. ICT is a huge part of our school routine and a major focus for our short and long term future.

In term one our inquiry health topic was "Healthy Eating and Healthy Living". We learnt all about what our bodies need, whats good and whats bad for us. We even had a visit from the Southland Stags nutritionist.
We are all well into term two's exciting inquiry - "How things work". Room 1 is concentrating on "Electricity", Room 2 on "Forces" and Room 3 "Magnets"
